End of an era for now
Seems as though "The Big Wigs" in their infinite wisdom at UPN have decided to end the latest run of the Star Trek series. I guess the ratings for reality based series, with people eating worms and other foul things or what to wear or not wear, are slightly higher than that of a show that brought fans together all over the world to see what Capt. Archer and the rest of the crew were up to. And forgive me if I am wrong on this point, but I do not remember seeing any conventions for Fear Factor or Top Model (not that I would attend them if I did happen to come across one.) anywhere around the United States like I have for the Star Trek franchise for so many years now. These are places for fans to come together and share what they feel for the shows that most of us watch religiously over and over again. Show me the values that the two aforementioned shows provide. At the very least we had the opportunity to learn something that may help us in our everyday lives from the show each week, even if we didn't intend to.

Come to bed!!! (I miss you.)
Can you say Battlestar Galatica? Battlestar will see a second season, thus making the loss of Enterprise a little easier to take. I guess at this point we just have to pray for syndication for yet another Star Trek series. And Alex, if you want Fear Factor, Richard Hatch can give you plenty.
