Star Wars Fan Films explode across the internet
Being at Starfest in Denver this past April and May exposed me for the first time to fan films for the Star Wars franchise. I stood memorized with one of the films in the dealer room I think it was called "Conflict" it was the battle of the Sith Lord, Darth Maul against three other creatures. I was completely intrigued by the makeup and locations, as well as the well choreographed fight scenes done throughout the film. I stood there with barbarians and klingons and Starfleet dressed folks pushing past a group of us that were huddled around a dealer table and watched intently the martial arts performance of the actors in the film, there was very little actual script involved but the fight scenes were great, with light sabers and light staves flashing. Dozens of other Star Wars Fan Films is one of the great sites for seeing the wonderful amateur fan films produced by dedicated Star Wars fans, who do it for pleasure of making something they love and in most cases grew up with, and won't let the films pass away after the release of the final film in the series this month by George Lucus and his creative team at Industrial Light and Magic I just want to say "Thanks George, for you imagination and dedication to a great story"
