Then and Now

What’s a good precursor to War of the Worlds, Close Encounters of course! Tomorrow night the staff of SCIFIPUNDIT will be going to see WotW and to get into the mood I watched Close Encounters. Although I am sure the aliens in WotW will not be nearly as benign as the music playing aliens of CE, it will still be interesting to see just how far Spielberg and special effects have come.
