I'm surprised Serenity did so well. I've decided not to go to any more movies based on comic books. Even if it's the best movie ever made from a comic book (and Batman Begins, for example was pretty well made) it's just a comic book movie. Having your basis in a comic book as opposed to in a real book or in a script puts a ceiling on seriousness that at my age, I just don't have the time for anymore. Good job on the blog.

Roger, if you havent seen Serenity yet, go buy the DVD set. It's a great show. I haven't seen Batman yet. I may wait to see it on cable as I often dislike such movies. Thanks for your comments and loyal readership.

I found this movie to be a constrained effort at best of making a comic book peril, entertaining. I did however find 2 of the 4 FANTASTIC...:) I wish Hollywood would go back in time to when they did movies that were quality films and not remakes of "old" shows, ie: The Lovebug, and Bewitched..I can't wait till Sept, gets here to see Serenity, now theres something worth waitng for in my book. I have watched the Firefly series on TV, there is something that is FANTASTIC.
