Return Voyage
Tomorrow night is one of those highly anticipated moments on the part of us geeky science fiction lovers. Easy to spot, we are the ones with Star Trek rank insignia, BSG screen savers, SCIFIPUNDIT bumper stickers, Star Wars action figures, an extensive Space 1999 DVD collection and various other tell-tale signs. We are also the ones that you shouldn’t call tomorrow between 6PM and Midnight. Why so long? They run SG-1, SG Atlantis and BSG twice. Why shouldn’t you call? Unless it’s an emergency AND a commercial is on you will not have our full attention. Go check out the Scifi channel's website, if you haven't already. They have plenty of trailers, info and everything you need to prepare yourself for tomorrow night. Come back to SCIFIPUNDIT as sometime over the weekend we will post our opinions and thoughts. Enjoy!

I didn't really enjoy the changes at Stargate despite the sexy Brit in the leather outfit (she's really not very beautiful which reinforces my belief that sexy and beautiful aren't always holding hands). Didn't find the new leader funny. I think a lot of the expectation for those additions came from fans of Farscape and I never was one. Give it a B-.
Atlantis is the weakest of the three. I liked nuking the Hive ships, they should have done more of that. Because Lt. Ford is not in the new advertising, I thought he was dead when he went in the drink. I still don't think he's long for the show. The eye freaks me out. C+ just for the eye.
BSG remains my favorite and I though they did a good job. Why were they using a rib spreader for a splenectomy? Stranding the most interesting character Starbuck on Caprica with the most boring one Helo is not going to pay any dividends, I think. She need to rejoin the fleet, but if they've jumped to some new place, how can she. I foresee a return to Cobal (sp?) Give it an A-.
